Consultancy K2 Management is expanding its board of directors to five people with the addition of a new member and the appointment of a vice chairman.
Jesper Kristian Jacobsen (pictured), chief executive at Aarsleff, is appointed as the new vice chairman, while Mads Bach Christensen, chief financial officer at Beumer Group, has been added to the board.
The existing board members are chairman Kaj Lindvig, and company co-founders and owners Lars Hammershojand and Per Melgaard.
Lindvig said: “K2 Management is on a very exciting journey and since the beginning, 12 years ago, the company has grown to over 250 people across all time zones.
“To support the owners to reach their ambitions for the company and give our new CEO the best possible setup to execute on our business strategy, we are expanding the board of directors with new skills and broader experience from larger organisations within finance and construction.”
Jorn Zielke will take over as K2’s new chief executive later this year, replacing Lars Hammershoj who has held the role in an interim capacity since Henrik Stamer left in October.
