Lightsource BP has appointed Miguel Vega as Director Business Development EMEA.
Vega joins from OceanWinds, where he was Chief Business Development Officer.
He brings over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
At Lightsource BP Vega will be responsible for delivering further growth in the EMEA markets through a combination of greenfield, co-development and merger and acquisition activities, including delivering 10GW of developed assets until 2025.

Vega helped create OceanWinds, a 50:50 joint venture between EDPR and Engie, where he was responsible for setting up the business development team which took the company’s portfolio from approximately 6GW to nearly 16GW in less than three years.
Previously, he held different roles in M&A, FP&A and business development in Europe and the United States at EDPR.
