Norwegian company Ocean Installer has appointed Robert Gillespie as the new managing director of the company’s UK arm.
Gillespie will lead Ocean Installer UK based in Aberdeen, where he will be responsible for growing the company’s market share along with successfully and safely delivering projects.
Ocean Installer said that it is confident Gillespie has the right attributes for this vital role in a critical region.
He has 27 years’ experience in the international offshore oil and gas and offshore wind industries, including senior positions with Fugro, TechnipFMC, McDermott and most recently as managing director for DOF Subsea UK.
