Bibby Marine has appointed Helen Samuels as its new chief executive, effective from January next year.
Samuels is currently engineering director at Network Rail in charge of the that company’s £5bn annual national capital programme.
Bibby Marine is the holding company for Bibby Maritime, Bibby Marine Services and Bibby HydroMap.
Samuels said: “It’s a privilege to be asked to lead Bibby Marine I’m really excited to be joining the team, and proud to be part of an organisation with such strong values long, successful heritage.
“I am passionate about growth in the sectors in which we operate and with which we are associated I am very much looking forward to meeting and working with colleagues across the marine businesses as well as the rest of the group.”
Bibby Marine is a subsidiary of Bibby Line Group.
