Outgoing Orsted chief executive Henrik Poulsen is to join AP Moller Holding as a senior advisor and a member of its investment committee.
Poulsen will provide advice related to investments in businesses targeting the transition to a sustainable society and the broader circular economy, AP Moller said.
He continues to be CEO of Orsted until the end of the year, when Grundfos Mads Nipper takes the reins, and will remain with the Danish energy company until 31 January to support the transition in roles.
AP Moller did not specify the exact start date for Poulsen at the company.
AP Moller Holding owns shipping giant Maersk and acquired Danish turbine system supplier KK Group last year, which includes KK Wind Solutions.
Poulsen resigned at Orsted CEO in June after eight years in charge of the company.
