Offshore wind robotics services provider Rovco has boosted its executive team with a combination of new hires and internal appointments.
Reena Rowan has been appointed to the role of chief financial officer, having previously held senior finance positions within Innogy and other organisations in offshore wind, oil, gas and telecommunications.
Martin Young has been promoted internally to the role of chief technology officer, from his previous role as Rovco’s technical director, with a background in software development.
Iain Wallace is Rovco’s chief scientific officer, having previously worked as CTO.
Wallace will lead the development of 3D vision and artificial intelligence to improve quality and reduce costs in subsea inspection. Wallace’s expertise ranges from multi-robot exploration to vision systems for the Mars rover.
Ian Bryan joins the company as consultant chief operating officer.
Bryan has 35 years’ of experience in defence, robotic manufacturing and renewables, including a previous role as managing director, group business operations at Global Marine Group.
Simon Miller joins the team as general manager of Rovco’s Scottish business, having worked for over 25 years in operations, senior projects, sales and business development roles at Rolls Royce Commercial Marine and Oceaneering International.
