Scottish Renewables has appointed Susie Lind (pictured) as chair and Finley Becks-Phelps as vice-chair of the organisation.
The industry body said both appointments will run for three-year terms and take effect immediately.
Lind, a partner at international law firm CMS, succeeds Adam Morrison, UK country manager for Ocean Winds, who served as chair since 2021 and remains on the board.
She has worked in the energy sector for 15 years and currently leads the energy and infrastructure team at CMS.
Her previous roles include executive director positions at EDF UK, EDF Renewables and the BlueFloat Energy | Nadara Partnership.
Becks-Phelps is country head of development for the UK at Nadara, where he leads a team developing the company’s renewable energy portfolio.
Nadara has an operational portfolio of more than 1GW and a pipeline of almost 1.5GW of projects across the UK.
“I’m honoured to be elected as Chair of Scottish Renewables at such a pivotal moment for our industry,” said Susie Lind, partner at CMS and chair of Scottish Renewables.
“Scotland has the expertise, the ambition and natural resources to lead the world in renewable energy and provide a more prosperous, secure future for the people of Scotland.”
“I’m genuinely delighted to step into the role of Vice-Chair at Scottish Renewables at such an important moment for our industry,” said Finley Becks-Phelps, country head of development UK at Nadara.
“Scotland has world-class expertise, exceptional natural resources and an industry full of people who care deeply about delivering a cleaner, more secure future for communities across the country.”
Claire Mack, chief executive of Scottish Renewables, said the new leadership marks “the beginning of an exciting new chapter for energy in Scotland”.
