Thomas Karst will join Siemens Gamesa as head of offshore sales and projects, effective 1 October 2020.
Karst has previously held roles at MHI Vestas and Orsted during his career spanning three decades.

Between 2015 and 2019 Karst was chief sales officer at MHI Vestas Offshore Wind in the company’s headquarters in Arhus in Denmark.
Before that he was programme director at Orsted, when it was Dong Energy, for the Race Bank offshore wind farm
Karst has also been a partner at Make Consulting.
From 2010 to 2012 he ran Nordex offshore wind division.
Most recently Karst was chief executive of Arcon-Sunmark, a provider of large-scale solar thermal plants for industrial sites and cities.
