Siemens Gamesa has appointed a new global head of corporate affairs as part of an overhaul of the department.
In his new role Ben Hunt will lead the wind turbine manufacturer’s corporate communications and public affairs department.

He has also worked as a journalist, editing the Financial Times’s digital business section for several years.
Maria Cortina, former Head of Communications and Public Affairs, will lead a strategic project for the company, which will be announced soon, and act as senior advisor for Siemens Gamesa’s corporate affairs in Spain.
Welcoming Hunt to the team Siemens Gamesa chief executive Markus Tacke said: “Ben is perfectly suited to further enhance Siemens Gamesa’s approach to communication with key internal and external stakeholders across the globe.”
Tacke also thanked Cortina for her work.
