Junxu Yan, Founder and CEO of Titan Group, said: “Heiko brings an impressive blend of leadership expertise and business know-how to the table.

“With his many years of experience in the world of Offshore wind and monopile industry, he will be instrumental in advancing our build-up and transformation process in Cuxhaven, Germany.

“As Managing Director, Heiko will be a significant asset to strengthen our success in Germany and contribute to the lasting growth of the Titan Group.”

Mutzelburg has been working in the offshore wind industry since 2010 and has experience of managing more than 40 offshore wind projects with more than 2500 foundations.

Mutzelburg said: “I am thrilled to join Titan Wind Energy.

“For the monopile industry, Titan Wind Germany stands out because of the strategic location, very good conditions in the facility, and strong market demand.

“That fact, together with a promising business model geared towards the Net Zero target is a unique base for starting a successful business in Europe and that attracted me to make my decision to join Titan.”

Titan Wind Energy announced Financial Investment Decision of €300m in Cuxhaven, Germany to construct XXXL monopile production plant back in June 2024.

The first monopile is planned to be delivered summer 2026 and the factory will employ more than 600 employees once the production plant is fully operational.
