Vestas employees have concluded the election of company employee representatives to the company’s board of directors, according to the Danish law on employee representation.
Sussie Dvinge (pictured), Management Assistant was re-elected for four years and Louise Schmidt Nielsen, Supply Chain & Transport HSE Specialist has been newly elected for four years.
The elected employee representatives will join the board of directors following the Annual General Meeting of Vestas on 9 April 2024.
At the same time the current board member Pia Kirk Jensen, who was not re-elected, will resign.
On 22 March 2024, the ordinary election of two group representatives among the employees in the Vestas Group’s Danish companies will take place, according to the current law on employee representation.
According to the Danish Companies Act, the employees of Vestas Wind Systems are entitled to be represented by two employees in the board of directors.
Employee-elected board members serve for a statutory four-year term and have the same rights, duties, and responsibilities as shareholder-elected board members.
