Danish trade body Wind Denmark has named Camilla Holbech as its deputy director.
Wind Denmark said the appointment is the due to organisational growth that includes three operational offices across the country.
Holbech (pictured) will help ensure the continued development of Wind Denmark’s organisation and lead the organisation’s policy, electricity market and analysis team.
She is a lawyer and has been employed by Wind Denmark since 2014, serving as deputy chief since 2017.
Holbech said: “The 2020s will be a landmark for Denmark’s and the world’s green transition, and in Denmark we have all the prerequisites to show how we think the climate neutrality task should be solved, and not least how wind energy as a cornerstone of the energy system can contribute best.”
Wind Denmark director Jan Hylleberg said: “I am pleased that Camilla has accepted the job of deputy director, as it will strengthen the secretariat and in this way also the expansion of wind energy in Denmark and the green transition.
“Camilla has extensive experience and is perfectly suited to the tasks that await.”
