PNE Group subsidiary Energy Consult has acquired German company MEB Services, a provider of safety technology for wind energy and industrial plants.
MEB Services has 18 employees, all of which will continue to be employed under the new ownership regime.
The company provides platform access systems, cranes, ascending aids and service lifts, as well as training courses on personal safety at work.
PNE said the acquisition is line with its ‘scale up’ strategy.
PNE chief executive Markus Lesser (pictured) said: “This enables us to offer an increasingly growing range of products and services, from the purchase of projects, project development for and with partners and the operation of wind farms through to their repowering.”
The future management team of MEB Safety Services consists of the managing directors Henning Wegner and Malte Mehrtens, as well as the former shareholders of MEB, Fritz Mahrholz and Marco Buntzow as authorized signatories, PNE said.
