Schneider Electric is showcasing innovations in its Ringmaster connected energy management technology at the All-Energy 2019 trade fair in Glasgow on 15 an 16 May.
The latest developments include the RN2d ring main unit, which is the fourth generation of the series for medium-voltage applications.
It features smart connectivity and fully automated wireless control when paired with the T300 remote terminal unit, the company said.
RN2d can be used to distribute power in factories and power plants, as well as servicing the energy needs of package substations, it added.
Schneider Electric power systems vice president UK & Ireland David Hall said: “The energy sector is facing a multitude of challenges as we move towards a smarter grid and more active energy management.
“We’re thrilled to be showcasing our best of breed ring main units and connectivity-enhancing solutions at All Energy 2019.”
