Nominations have opened for Scottish Renewables’ 2017 Scottish Green Energy Awards, which include 11 categories.
Among the new categories this year are outstanding project, carbon reduction and outstanding service awards. The deadline for nominations is Friday 8 September at 5pm.
Other categories include: best community engagement; best community project; best innovation; champion renewables; contribution to skills; outstanding contribution and sustainable development.
The finalists will be announced on 2 October, with the winners revealed at an event in Edinburgh on 30 November.
The 11th category is rising star, which isn’t open for nominations. The shortlist for this award is made up of the winners of categories at the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards that were held in May.
