Senvion secured wind turbine orders totalling €1.304bn in 2016, including €458m in the fourth quarter.
The German manufacturer said that its conditional order book stood at €1.765bn at the end of the year, a 10% increase on the €1.598bn in 2015.
Senvion chief executive Jürgen Geissinger said: “We are proud of the successful end to the year with substantial order intake.”
The company added that conditional orders totalling 300MW for the Sarco and Aurora wind farms in Chile did not convert into firm orders before year end due to a delay in financial close.
The financial close of both contracts is expected in the first quarter of this year and so the “goal to finalise installation within 2017 remains unchanged”, Senvion said.
