German turbine manufacturer Senvion has appointed Christoph Seyfarth as chief operating officer, starting in February.
He will be responsible for managing the supply chain, global blades and nacelles, operational excellence and order fulfilment.
Seyfarth (pictured) will report to Senvion chief executive officer Jürgen Geissinger.
He was previously a member of the executive committee of Nordex, where he was COO nacelle and tower.
Geissinger said: “Christoph Seyfarth brings with him experience of the wind industry and is therefore familiar with the specifics of the sector.”
Seyfarth said: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to contribute my experience to expanding and developing the company further on its international growth path.”
