Siemens Gamesa is disinfecting the plant, which is an electric systems centre that was opened in 2018.
It is equipped with two test benches for testing and validating systems with capacity of up to 10MW and employs just under 200 people.
The spokesperson said the infected person is “under observation following the recommendations of the health authorities”, while “employees that had contact with the affected employee will remain working from home”.
