Law firm Watson Farley & Williams has provided advisory services to several clients involved in renewables across Europe in recent weeks.
WFW advised Vattenfall on the disposal of a 49% stake in the 150MW Ormonde offshore wind farm in England to Swedish pension group AMF for £237m.
It also advised a syndicate of 19 banks led by BBVA on the €503m restructuring of Tuin Zonne, the 131.13MW photovoltaic portfolio of Grupo T-Solar, the renewables subsidiary of the Isolux Corsán group.
The law firm also advised three banking syndicates les by Banco Santander on the €423m debt financing on Renovalia’s solar portfolio in Spain totalling 69MW.
