Work is progressing on Atlantis Resources’s 1.5MW tidal turbines that are to be deployed at the MeyGen project in Scotland.
Austrian outfit Andritz Hammerfest Hydro is manufacturing three of the four HS1500 turbines that will make up phase 1A of the project.
Atlantis has released the first photo of one the HS1500 units under construction (pictured).
The Edinburgh company is producing the fourth AR1500 turbine, with all four due to be delivered in the summer.
