Insurance broker and risk management consultancy Renewable Risk Advisers has formed an alliance with Ocean Energy Advisors to help develop products to support finance for tidal power projects and other emerging technologies.
The company has also hired Richard Holmes as a consultant.
He was previously at JLT Specialty’s renewable energy team, where he handled a variety of projects for infrastructure funds and marine energy clients.
Renewable Risk Advisers director Michael Bullock said: “Richard’s track record and network will be a great contribution to our growth into new markets while adding greater depth to the team.”
