Cornwall’s Wave Hub has launched a tender to check the feasibility of a marine energy test site off the coast of Pembrokeshire in south Wales.
The study will look into the feasibility of the so-called Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone as a site to test multiple large-scale marine energy arrays, the notice states.
The auction is divided into two lots comprising technical feasibility and commercial viability studies. It has a total value of £230,000.
Companies can submit bids until 5 April and the award is scheduled for 25 April.
