UK gas utility Cadent is launching its first chatbot focused on hydrogen using Google cloud technology.
The chatbot can answer over 200 questions about hydrogen.
It is designed to answer questions from the general public and anyone wishing to find out more about hydrogen, its role in sustainability and more information on Cadent’s hydrogen and green gas projects.
Cadent is also involved in several hydrogen projects, including HyDeploy at Keele, the UK’s first demonstration of using a hydrogen blend for domestic heat, HyMotion which provides a blueprint for decarbonising heavy transport and HyNet which has been adopted by the North West as the basis for its future hydrogen economy.
Cadent strategy drector Angela Needle said: “Google Cloud’s technology has enabled us to build this chatbot to cater for a digital audience.
“This is part of our mission to ensure the general public has more knowledge about green energy and to share with them all the benefits that hydrogen can bring as a low carbon gas in a net zero future.”
