Conrad Energy has extended its sponsorship of Premiership rugby club Harlequins for another two years.
The agreement will see the company remain as Official Power Partner and Sleeve Sponsor, with its logo continuing to feature on the men’s and women’s team shirts as well as across The Stoop stadium.
From October, Conrad Energy will also become the club’s official power supplier, delivering 100% renewable electricity to the ground.
The partnership will explore further sustainability initiatives, including installing electric vehicle charging points and solar solutions.
Tony O’Carroll, CEO of Conrad Energy, said: “It is a source of pride for Conrad Energy to partner with Harlequins. The values the club has embraced since it was founded in 1866 – teamwork, performance, creativity, and commitment – are not only timeless but also align with our own approach.”
Harlequins CEO Laurie Dalrymple added: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Conrad Energy, a company that shares our ambition both on and off the pitch. Their desire to aid our sustainability journey by providing innovative energy solutions at The Stoop is an important step forward in helping us reduce costs and our carbon footprint.”
Conrad Energy said the partnership highlights its growth in providing renewable power and flexible energy solutions for industries including retail, agriculture, manufacturing and data centres, as well as sport.
