“Reaching our carbon reduction and climate change targets is an enormous task and one that is going to need everyone and everything we’ve got.

“The incredible innovation, skills and engineering know-how across this evening’s shortlist is just a snippet of what we have here in Scotland and shows we are already on the right path to achieving this.

“The Net-Zero Energy Transition Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the passion, dedication and talent of the exceptional people and companies making up the energy transition supply chain.

“My congratulations go to all off the nominees, and of course winners.”

The 2022 Net-Zero Energy Transition Awards were headline-sponsored by TotalEnergies.

UK Country Chair at TotalEnergies Jean-Luc Guiziou said: “Scottish Renewables’ Net-Zero Energy Transition Awards was a celebration of the gains we’ve already made in the energy transition and great inspiration for the future.

“We were honoured to headline sponsor the inaugural event.

“We’ve got a long journey ahead of us, but tonight’s awards showed that we have made a strong start.”
