Nine companies have been recognised for their contributions to Scotland’s renewable energy industry at the Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards in Aberdeen.
Organised by Scottish Renewables, the event highlighted innovation, commitment and leadership across the country’s clean power supply chain, with winners chosen from 31 finalists.
Port of Aberdeen won the Sustainable Supplier Award for its strategy to cut emissions through improved vessel scheduling and the development of the UK’s largest commercial shore power system.
Integrity HSE secured the Best Practice Award for its role as an outsourced health and safety partner for green energy businesses.
XOCEAN took the Technology & Business Innovation Award for its uncrewed survey vessel technology deployed at the Moray West offshore wind farm.
Other winners included Windward Energy, Renewable Parts, Thistle Wind Partners, Story Contracting, Fennex and NESA.
Dan McGrail, chief executive of Great British Energy, delivered the keynote address, stressing Scotland’s role in supporting UK renewable ambitions.
Emma Harrick, director of supply chain and energy transition at Scottish Renewables, said: “The Scottish Green Energy Supply Chain Awards is proud to champion the bold, agile, forward-thinking businesses and organisations that are rising to the challenge of building our future energy system.
