Aquila European Renewables Income Fund (AERIF) has closed the acquisition of a 100% interest in the operational 30MW Tiza solar farm in Spain for an undisclosed price.
Tiza is located in the Almería region, in the south of Spain.

The project will increase AERIF’s total solar PV portfolio generation capacity to 230MW.
Axpo Iberia, a subsidiary of Axpo Solutions, recently signed a 6.5 year fixed price Power Purchase Agreement for the site which has already started producing electricity.
AERIF was advised by Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft for the transaction.
