French banks Bpifrance Financement, Natixis Energéco and Banque Palatine have lent a total of €58m to Eneryo to refinance a portfolio of 14 ground and roof-based solar plants in France and Martinique.
The projects have a total capacity of 15.8MW.
Bpifrance Financement and Natixis Energéco were lenders, agents and co-arrangers on the deal, while Banque Palatine was a lender, as well as hedge and account bank.
Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) advised the banks on the drafting of all financing documents and assisted during the legal due diligence process.
The WFW team was led by partner Laurence Martinez-Bellet, accompanied by partners Laurent Battoue and Romain Girtanner, together with assistance from associates Marie Lesschaeve, Sébastien Hoff, Nicolas Demeocq, Maxime Leoni, Hélène Ibos, Inès Garcia de las Bayonas and Alban Vaqué d’Anla.
Eneryo, a subsidiary of Novenergia Group, was advised by a team from law firm Kalliopé comprising Rodolphe Cavroy, Damien Le Mouël and Virginie Harmann.
