BayWa has sold the 17.7MW peak Homestead solar park near Towcester in England to Hamburg-based CEE.
The facility was completed in spring last year and the electricity generated is being sold to McDonald’s under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
It is being financed by German pension fund Ärzteversorgung Westfalen-Lippe.
BayWa board member Matthias Taft said: “With the sale of the fourth PV project to CEE, we are continuing our successful collaboration with this company.
“In the coming weeks, we will connect further solar projects with a capacity of 130MWp to the grid.”
