A fund managed by BlackRock is to buy from SPI Energy subsidiary SPI China (HK) the 15MW Hall Farm solar project in Norfolk in the UK.
The deal involves the purchase of the entire issued share capital of Solar Park Developments 2, which owns the project.
Hall Farm started construction in the first quarter of 2015 and was connected to the grid in August of that year.
It is eligible to receive renewables obligation certificates at 1.3 ROCs/MWh for 20 years under the UK’s RO scheme.
SPI Energy chairman Xiaofeng Peng said: “We are delighted to partner with BlackRock again on our third UK transaction during the past year.”
