Blue Tree Asset Management has secured a contract to manage a 23MW solar photovoltaic project in Uruguay for an unnamed multinational company.
The contract is Blue Tree’s first in the South American country and company expects to grow further business there in 2017.
Blue Tree chief operating officer Jose Maria Basagoiti said: “This contract widens our portfolio under management and allows us to make progress with the firm’s internationalisation plan, exporting our business model to other markets.”
The company currently manages a portfolio of more than 270MW of photovoltaic and wind power projects for its clients.
