Canadian Solar has signed an agreement with Green Power Europe for 320MW of solar projects in Italy.
The portfolio consists of four development projects projects in Sicily and Sardinia and is being sold to Canadian Solar, following an international tender process.

The agreement will see Green Power Europe complete the sale of the projects to Canadian Solar once they reach the ready-to-build stage.
Prothea, an independent financial advisor with a track record in the Italian renewable energy market, has acted for Green Power Europe as its exclusive financial advisor for marketing and executing the transaction.
