Capital Dynamics has signed a long-term power purchase agreement with a Fortune 500 company for three of Italy’s largest solar projects.
The firm said the assets together have an aggregate annual generation capacity exceeding 0.5TWh.
According to Capital Dynamics, the agreement reflects its strategy of acquiring ready-to-build assets, bringing them into operation and stabilising cash flows through PPAs.
“We are delighted to partner with a leading Fortune 500 Global Companies to provide secure and clean energy through three of our Italian solar projects,” said Dario Bertagna, senior managing director and co-head of clean energy.
“Italy continues to be a core market for us and being able to secure long term stable cashflows is a key milestone for our projects in Italy,” Bertagna added.
“Being able to secure long term agreements with blue-chip counterparties provides stable cashflows, access to project financing and unlocks real value for our investors,” said Lupo Leonardi, principal in the clean energy team.
Capital Dynamics said its clean energy platform makes direct equity investments in carbon-reducing renewable power projects and is supported by a team of more than 35 specialists.
