Dominion has closed the sale to SunEdison of the previously announced 33% ownership interest in 425MW AC of solar capacity.
Dominion sold the ownership interest in 172MW AC of solar generating capacity at nine sites in California, Utah and Georgia for approximately $120m, subject to certain adjustments.
The first phase of the sale – a 33% interest in 253MW AC – closed in December 2015 for approximately $180m.
Dominion expects to pay down debt with the cash proceeds.
