Downing has acquired the Higher Witheven Solar project in Launceston, Cornwall.
The company said the deal strengthens its UK solar ready-to-build portfolio and supports the energy transition.
Grid connection and project completion are expected in Q4 2027, according to Downing.
The project has been designed with biodiversity enhancements and a landscape-led approach alongside power generation.
Sean Moore, senior investment director at Downing, said: “We’re delighted to be acquiring Higher Witheven Solar.”
“The acquisition aligns with Downing’s long-term investment strategy, which focuses on building and managing high-quality renewable energy assets that deliver stable returns while supporting the UK’s transition to a low-carbon energy system,” Moore added.
