EDP Renewables North America has closed a 15-year power purchase agreement to sell the energy produced by two solar farms in Ohio totalling almost 100MW
EDPR did not release details of the purchaser of the electricity from the projects, which are due online in 2022.

The company said that with this new agreement it has secured 85% of the 7GW targeted wind and solar global capacity build-out for the 2019-2022.
EDPR said that given its current solar assets in operation and the 1.4GW of new projects already contracted, the company’s portfolio will increase its technological diversification and reach 1.6GW of solar capacity build-out by 2022.
