Enel Green Power North America and Raptor Maps are working together to combine technology to improve operations and maintenance at solar farms.
The memorandum of understanding will see the Raptor Solar artificial intelligence software embedded into Enel’s drone hardware in order to carry out real-time identification of project faults.
It aims to cut the detection to repair process from days to hours, Enel said.
Work started this month and by the end of the year Enel Green Power aims to have trained and equipped about 30 field workers to use the technology.
