First Solar Power India has brought online two solar projects totalling 130MW in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The 80MW Andhra Pradesh project and 50MW Telangana plant are part of a 260MW portfolio wholly-owned by First Solar in India.
The projects will be powered by more than 1.4m First Solar PV modules, the company said.
Southern Power Distribution Company will buy the electricity generated by the Andhra Pradesh project, while Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company will buy power from the other project both under 25-year power purchase agreements.
