Thai developer Prime Road Group and First Solar have completed four solar farms totalling 18MW in Thailand.
The projects are located across the Ayutthaya and Pathum Thani provinces and consist of more than 158,500 First Solar thin-film photovoltaic modules.
They were developed under the Thai Governmental Agency and Agricultural Cooperatives Program.
Bouygues-Thai – a subsidiary of the French Bouygues Group – was the engineering, procurement and construction contractor on the projects.
Electricity from the projects will be sold via a 25-year power purchase agreement to the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand.
