Foresight Solar Fund has bought the operational 49.6MW Sandridge solar farm in the UK from Goldbeck Solar for £56m.
The project was connected to the grid in March 2016 and so qualified for 1.3 renewable obligation certificates.
Goldbeck was advised on the deal by law firm Bird & Bird, while Osborne Clarke advised Foresight.
The Bird & Bird team was led by partner and co-head of the renewables group Elizabeth Reid and Matt Bonass, also a partner and co-head of the energy and utilities group, with assistance from associates Andrew Collins, Will Porter, Levent Gurdenli, Emma Cordiner and Laura Jordan.
