Foresight Solar Fund is planning a share issue with the aim of raising almost £32m to acquire 82MW of solar projects in the UK before the end of the year.
The fund proposes to issue 30,995,537 shares, representing almost 10% of its share capital, at a price of £1.03 per share.
The targeted solar assets qualify for 1.4 and 1.3 Renewables Obligation Certificates, Foresight said.
Stifel Nicolaus Europe and JP Morgan Cazenove are joint bookrunners on the issuance.
Trading of the new shares is expected to start on the London Stock Exchange on 28 October, the fund said.
