Gamesa has commissioned solar parks with a combined 58MW across India in the first quarter of the year.
The Spanish company opened photovoltaic plants in the states of Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Uttarakhand as part of plan to explore opportunities other than wind power, it said.
Gamesa was responsible for the engineering design, the supply of inverters, construction and commissioning.
India aims to have 100GW of solar capacity by 2022, compared with about 3.8GW now.
