Gamesa has a contract with Laugfs Power to provide turnkey engineering, procurement and construction solutions for a 20MW solar farm in Sri Lanka
Gamesa said the deal, its first solar order in Sri Lanka, includes supply of its inverters, as well as erection and commissioning of the plant.
The plant is scheduled to start operating in October.
It is located in Hambantota province in the south of Sri Lanka.
