Gamesa has won an order from Indian renewable energy developer New Era Enviro for 23MW of solar power capacity across three projects in the state of Telangana.
The Spanish company will develop three solar power plants – 5MW, 8MW and 10MW – on a turnkey basis in the towns of Bujarampet, Mankondur and Ellanthakunta, respectively.
Gamesa will carry out the engineering work, procure the photovoltaic inverters and commission the facilities, which is expected in the first quarter of this year.
New Era Enviro will supply the solar panels and structures.
It is the Spanish company’s second solar power order, having established a foothold in the photovoltaic segment last July with a 10 MW project in India.
