The German federal network agency has awarded 2271MW of capacity in its latest tender for ground-mounted and certain non-building solar installations.
The 1 July 2025 auction was oversubscribed, with 313 bids totalling 2.82GW competing for 2.266GW on offer.
The regulator said 258 bids were successful, while 36 were excluded from the process.
Award prices ranged from €0.04/kWh to €0.0626/kWh, with the average volume-weighted price at €0.0484/kWh, up slightly from €0.0466/kWh in the previous round.
Bavaria again secured the largest share with 689MW across 106 projects, followed by Rhineland-Palatinate with 251MW and Lower Saxony with 250MW.
Federal network agency president Klaus Müller said competition was keeping award prices well below the ceiling level and creating reliable conditions for bidders.
The next auction in this segment will take place on 1 December 2025.
