Geronimo Energy has sold a 66MW solar portfolio in Minnesota to Berkshire Hathaway Energy Renewables.
The Minnesota Community Solar Garden projects are spread across 21 locations in some 16 counties and will be constructed by the end of 2017.
The deal comes on a back of an earlier deal between the two companies for a similar portfolio of around 35MW of solar.
Geronimo’s energy president Blake Nixon said: “We are pleased to expand our partnership with BHE Renewables.
“Geronimo looks forward to continuing to grow our relationship with BHE Renewables through our work in Community Solar Garden programs and deliver on our promise to positively impact rural economies, specifically here in our home state of Minnesota.”
