Gonvarri Solar Steel has reached a supply agreement with Zelestra (formerly Solarpack) to provide 165MW of its 1P solar trackers for three 55MW projects in the province of Seville, Spain.
The deal will result in the installation of a total of 3470 single- and dual-row solar trackers.
The projects represent a step forward in the region’s renewables generation capacity said Gonvarri Solar Steel, reflecting the consolidation of a strategic alliance between the two companies.
Both outfits are collaborating on numerous projects, strengthening their mutual trust and commitment to developing innovative solutions that drive the adoption of renewable energy, both in Spain and globally, it added.
The supply of the solar trackers will provide clean energy to over 95,000 homes annually, with a significant positive impact on the environment by avoiding the emission of approximately 66,000 tons of CO2 each year, said Gonvarri Solar Steel.
This agreement will be executed throughout 2024 with operations expected to commence between the second half of 2024 and the first half of 2025.
