Green Nation has revealed plans for the 750MW Whitestone solar farm in South Yorkshire, England.
The PV project would feature a battery energy storage system and be located between Rotherham and Doncaster.
Grid connection is planned into the nearby Brinsworth substation.
The developer has launched an initial round of public consultation that will run through until mid-January 2025.
Further feedback sessions are planned next year ahead of a Development Consent Order application expected in 2026.
Green Nation chief executive Jonathan Thompson said: “We are excited to launch Whitestone solar farm, which stands to make an important contribution to our national energy goals.
“We are still early in the project’s development and encourage anyone with an interest in the proposals to meet with us during the first consultation and to share their views.”
