Greenvolt Power, through its US JV Greenvolt Power Actualize, has signed three 20-year PPAs to supply 76MW of green energy to Dominion Energy from three solar projects.
The installed capacity of the three projects currently under development will generate 170GWh of clean energy annually.
The energy produced through the solar panels to be installed in the three projects will meet the average annual needs of around 16,000 American families.
Greenvolt chief executive João Manso Neto said: “Greenvolt Group pursues its growth strategy in the important North American market, where several large-scale wind and solar photovoltaic projects are currently under development.
“These PPAs with Dominion Energy are part of that growth strategy, with these agreements being the recognition of the delivery capacity of our teams in the various geographies in which we are present.”
