Swedish solar outfit Helios Nordic Energy has added another five projects totalling 200MW to its portfolio, which now totals 500MW.
As of today, Helios has initiated another five projects which potentially adds 200MW to Helios’ portfolio, following receipt of environmental approvals from three Country Administration Boards.
In February 2021, renewable energy development company Magnora acquired 25% of Helios in a share issue.
At the time of Magnora’s investment, Helios had developed a project portfolio of 11 projects and 300MW of installed capacity.
Magnora has the option to acquire another 15% ownership share of Helios by 15 September 2021.
Helios is a Swedish solar PV company focusing on large-scale greenfield projects in the Nordics.
Helios plans to grow its development portfolio to over 1GW over the next 12 months and has also started discussions with EPC providers for its potential investors.
